Come Sailing with Us
Pride of Baltimore, Inc. has released its sailing schedule for
1999. PRIDE II will begin her spring tour as the centerpiece of Baltimore's
Waterfront Festival, April 29-May 2, where she will be open to guests at her usual
berth at the finger piers in the Inner Harbor.
After the Festival, PRIDE II will head into Chesapeake Bay where she will "show
the colors" in St. Michael's, Cambridge, Annapolis, Wilmington, DE, and Norfolk,
VA.
Summer will find PRIDE II in the Great Lakes. She'll make calls in New York and
Boston before heading to Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee, Cleveland, and Toronto. On
her way home, she'll visit Mystic, CT, and Philadelphia.
Fall will find the ship once again sailing in Chesapeake Bay. You can visit her
in Annapolis, Baltimore, Chesapeake City, St. Mary's' City, Solomon's Island,
Havre de Grace, Oxford, St. Michael's, and Chestertown.
See the Itinerary for a
complete schedule of the ship's travels in 1999.
Sailing Aboard PRIDE II
Sailing enthusiasts and friends of PRIDE II can book passage as Guest Crew Members
on most legs of this year's schedule. There are many short passages (overnight
and two day sails in Chesapeake Bay) that are ideal for those want a quick
adventure. There are also several longer legs (for instance between
Boston-Detroit, and Milwaukee-Cleveland) for those who really want to stretch
their sea legs. Guest Crew members participate in the life of the ship as fully
as their interests and abilities permit. It's a great way capture the adventure
and romance of tall ship sailing.

Passengers for a complete list of destinations and costs, and to book passage.
