Hi Nathan, and greetings from the Atlantic Ocean, north of Puerto Rico
by approximately 300 miles!
To answer your question, yes, I have seen sharks before, but not on this
voyage. Sharks are not usually surface swimmers unless they are in
shallows chasing something or in a feeding frenzy near the surface.
We've seen dolphins, flying fish, and whales. In fact, yesterday we saw
a pod of three or four pilot whales. No sharks though! :-) Take care,
