Take a ruler and measure the distance from A to B. Now measure one of the "tacks", and count how many tacks it took to get from A to B. Record your answers on your worksheet. Now multiply the number of legs by the measurement of each leg, and what is your answer? Compare this length with the actual distance from A to B.
